Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a public competition can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Able to work alone or in a small team.
- Driving machines, including a tractor.
- High availability and irregular or shifted hours.
- Following health and safety rules at work.
- Able to travel between several work sites.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 13 (Closes in 13 days)
Apply on the employer's website, or send your CV and cover letter by post to the town hall, for the attention of the Mayor.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work is not possible.
- Irregular hours with a large daily range.
- Physically demanding job: noise, lifting loads, dangerous products.
- Position vacant from 1 January 2027.
