Experience: Experienced
The profile they look for:
- Able to work alone, sometimes in a small team.
- Very available and willing to work irregular hours.
- Constant travel to work sites.
- Follows health and safety rules at work.
- Good relations with elected officials, staff and residents.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 15 (Closes in 14 days)
Apply on the employer's website before the deadline, sending a cover letter and a CV.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Driving licence B, AIPR, CACES nacelle, electrical authorisation, tractor driving and mowing are assets.
- A heavy goods vehicle licence is also an asset.
- No remote work possible.
- Physically demanding and exposed work: noise, lifting loads, dangerous products, irregular hours.
