Open to civil servants and contract staff. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can apply, because the entry grade (adjoint technique, category C) allows direct hiring.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Able to work alone, sometimes in a small team.
- Often in contact with elected officials.
- Comfortable dealing with residents and local associations.
- Apply health and safety rules at work.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 27 (Closes in 29 days)
Apply on the employer's website, then send your cover letter and CV to the town hall by post.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
