Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the grade offered is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Basic knowledge of green space maintenance and road works.
- Some knowledge of building maintenance and interior finishing work.
- Basic skills: pruning, planting, cleaning and manual handling.
- Knows safety rules and how to use equipment safely.
- Works independently, reacts quickly and stays organised.
- Gets along well with the public.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 15 (Closes in 16 days)
Send your CV and cover letter before the deadline, preferably through the Emploi Territorial portal.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Category C post, adjoint technique grades.
- No management role.
- Remote work not possible.
- Post vacant from 1 January 2027.
