Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry-level category C grade.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of green space care, roads and road signs.
- Using ride-on mowers, tractors and petrol-powered tools.
- Basic skills in plumbing, electrics, painting and masonry.
- Versatility, autonomy and initiative.
- Rigour, discretion and good physical fitness.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 7 (Closes in 8 days)
Send a CV and a cover letter to the Mayor at the Ségry town hall, or apply on the employer's website.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Category B driving licence required; BE and/or C licences preferred.
- Electrical authorisation BS/B1 and AIPR operator certification preferred.
- Certiphyto appreciated for using plant protection products.
- Outdoor work involving carrying loads.
