Civil servants and contract agents can apply. No competitive exam is needed, because the grade is an entry grade in category C. A contract agent can be hired if no civil servant has applied.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Able to work alone, sometimes in a small team.
- Very flexible, with possibly irregular working hours.
- Frequent travel between work sites.
- Follows health and safety rules at work.
- Able to work with elected officials and residents.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 26 (Closes in 27 days)
Send your cover letter and CV to the Médréac town hall, for the attention of the Mayor, by post or email. You can also apply through the territorial jobs site mentioned in the offer.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Sometimes works alone, with irregular hours and a wide daily range.
- Physical job: lifting loads, noise, dangerous products, long periods standing.
- Strong seasonal work, with peaks linked to the weather.
- Remote work is not possible.
