Civil servants and contract staff can apply. Direct hiring without a competitive exam is possible, because the grade offered is an entry-level category C grade (adjoint technique).

The profile they look for:
- Work alone, sometimes in a small team
- Travel constantly between work sites
- Adapt to strong seasonal peaks and weather conditions
- Accept physical strain: lifting loads, standing for long periods, noise
- Have frequent contact with elected officials, staff and residents
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 20 (Closes in 18 days)
Send your CV and cover letter by email to the town hall. The offer also says you can apply on the employer's website.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
