The job is open to civil servants and contract agents. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired directly, because the adjoint technique grade is an entry grade in category C. People recognised as disabled workers can also be hired on a contract basis.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Work alone, sometimes in a small team
- Travel constantly between sites
- Be very available, hours can be irregular
- Cope with physical and demanding work
- Be in frequent contact with elected officials and residents
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 1 (Closes in 3 days)
Send your cover letter and CV to the mayor of La Brède. You can apply on the employer's website given in the offer.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
