Open to civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff. No competitive exam needed: the entry grade in category C allows direct hiring. Grades: adjoint technique, adjoint technique principal 2nd or 1st class.

The profile they look for:
- Work alone and travel constantly between sites.
- Be available.
- Wear suitable work clothing.
- Accept physical work: noise, lifting loads, dangerous products.
- Be in frequent contact with elected officials, residents and suppliers.
- Hold a category B driving licence.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
