Open to civil servants (titulaires) and contract agents. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Able to work alone or in a small team.
- Very available.
- Accept irregular hours and strong seasonal peaks.
- Accept physically demanding work: lifting loads, standing for long periods.
- Accept work exposed to noise, machines and hazardous products.
- Comfortable with frequent contact with councillors and residents.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website linked from the official offer. You can also drop off your application at the town hall office.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
