1 Check the conditions You are here
Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the adjoint technique grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Able to work alone, sometimes in a small team.
- Very available, with irregular working hours.
- Accept constant travel between work sites.
- Accept hard working conditions: noise, lifting loads, dangerous products.
- In frequent contact with elected officials and residents.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 6 (Closes in 6 days)
Send your application by post to the Paulhac town hall or by email, no later than 6 November 2026. You can also apply on the employer's website.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Job vacant from 1 January 2027.
- Irregular hours and strong seasonal peaks depending on the weather.
- No remote work possible.
- Job with physically hard working conditions.
