Civil servants and contract staff can apply. You do not need to have passed a competitive exam, because the Adjoint technique grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Able to work alone, sometimes in a small team.
- Very available, with hours that can be irregular or shifted.
- Constant travel between work sites.
- Able to cope with physical strain: lifting loads, noise, standing for long periods.
- Frequent contact with elected officials, staff and the public.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:

- Wearing suitable work clothing is required.
