Civil servants (titulaires) and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired directly, as the entry grade of category C allows it.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Experienced candidate required.
The profile they look for:
- Category B driving licence required, category E preferred.
- Occasional driving of machinery (digger, tractor, trailer).
- Good teamwork and day-to-day autonomy.
- Skills in light mechanics, plumbing, carpentry and masonry.
- Sense of public service and discretion.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Summer hours: 37 hours per week from 7 April to 26 September, giving 7 RTT days.
- Remote work not possible.
- Category C position.
- Availability required during exceptional events in the commune.
