Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. The job is open to the grades of senior technical assistant, 1st or 2nd class.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Able to work alone, sometimes in a small team.
- Very available, with irregular hours as needed.
- Frequent travel between work sites.
- Frequent contact with elected officials, residents and suppliers.
- Follows safety rules for yourself and for users.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Remote work is not possible.
- Outdoor work, with lifting, noise and dangerous equipment.
- Irregular hours and seasonal work.
