Open to civil servants and to people who are not civil servants, for example on a contract. The post is open at the adjoint technique grade, an entry grade in category C, without a competitive exam.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Work alone, sometimes in a small team.
- Be very available, with irregular hours as the service needs.
- Travel all the time between work sites.
- Accept strong seasonal changes and peaks linked to weather.
- Cope with hard working conditions: noise, heavy loads, dangerous products.
- Have frequent contact with elected officials, residents and suppliers.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
