Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade offered is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Beginners accepted. Experience driving construction vehicles is welcome.
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of safe driving rules for construction vehicles.
- Ability to operate the vehicles assigned to the post.
- Ability to carry out earthworks and levelling.
- Knowledge of road surface maintenance techniques.
- CACES certificate suited to the vehicles used.
- Driving licence for the vehicles driven.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: December 14 (Closes in 45 days)

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work is not possible.
- A driving licence and CACES certificate are required.
- Medical fitness compatible with the duties is required.
- No management role, category C post.
