Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. Direct hiring without a competitive exam is possible, because the adjoint technique grade is an entry grade in category C.

2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Send your application by email to the town hall or apply on the employer website linked from the official offer.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- The post is vacant from 1 December 2026.
- Rural post, with direct contact with residents.
- The contract cannot exceed three years at the start.
