Permanent civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the entry grade is category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Work alone and independently.
- High availability, hours to be agreed with the employee.
- Able to cover for other staff of the syndicate if needed.
- In contact with councillors, staff and school staff.
- Apply hygiene and safety rules.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website, through the official offer on Choisir le Service Public.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Part-time post, under 50% of full working time.
- Hours to be agreed, at least twice a week or every day.
- Remote work is not possible.
