Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.

Experience: Beginners welcome
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of green space maintenance and cleaning equipment.
- Ability to read a manual, a plan or instructions.
- Strict respect of workplace safety rules.
- Driving licence category B required.
- Work outdoors and indoors, in all weather, alone or in a team.
- Long periods standing, bending or kneeling.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Send your CV and cover letter to the Mayor, by post or by email, to the town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- A category B driving licence is required.
- Remote work is not possible.
- Protective clothing is required: boots, gloves, glasses, helmet.
