Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. Direct hiring without a competitive exam is possible, because the adjoint technique grade is an entry grade in category C.

The profile they look for:
- Able to work alone, sometimes in a small team.
- Very available, with irregular hours based on service needs.
- Frequent travel between work sites.
- Follows health and safety rules at work.
- Able to cope with physical work: lifting loads, noise, standing for long periods.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply through the employer's website, using the link on the official offer. The offer also mentions a paper application.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work is not possible.
- Irregular hours with a large daily range.
- Physically demanding job: noise, lifting loads, dangerous products.
- Strong seasonal peaks linked to the weather.
