Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Training or experience in green spaces, public works or roads
- Know how to use green space tools and equipment
- Drive vehicles and machines, such as a ride-on mower or a tractor
- Follow health and safety rules
- Independence, sense of priorities and public service
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 23 (Closes in 24 days)
Apply on the employer's website, the commune's site. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an interview.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Driving licence (permis B) required and essential
- Experience operating machines and knowledge of the local area would be a plus
- Category C post, remote work not possible
