Open to civil servants and contract agents. A candidate who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the post is at an entry grade of category C (adjoint technique). Candidates recognised as disabled workers can also apply through a contract.

2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 15 (Closes in 16 days)
Apply on the employer's website, through the offer on Choisir le Service Public. Send your file to the human resources department of the town.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
