Open to civil servants and contract agents. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade offered is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Working alone, sometimes in a small team.
- High availability, with irregular or shifted hours.
- Heavy goods licence (permis PL) required.
- Constant travel between work sites.
- Applying health and safety rules at work.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 30 (Closes in 28 days)
Apply by email to the town hall, addressed to the Mayor. The offer also links to the employer's own site to apply.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Post vacant from 1 January 2027.
- Irregular hours and hard working conditions: noise, lifting loads, dangerous products.
- Strong seasonal peaks linked to the weather.
- Heavy goods licence (permis PL) required.
