Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired directly, because one of the grades offered is an entry grade in category C.

The profile they look for:
- Work in pairs, sometimes in a small team.
- Travel constantly between work sites.
- Be very available, with irregular or split working hours.
- Cope with strong seasonal peaks and physically demanding work.
- Hold a PL licence or a machine driving authorisation such as a flail mower.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 6 (Closes in 7 days)
Apply on the employer's website, or send your CV and cover letter to the town hall by email or by post.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- PL licence or machine driving authorisation required.
- Remote work is not possible.
- Physically demanding job: noise, heavy loads, hazardous products.
