Civil servants and contract staff can apply. No competitive exam is needed, because the grade offered is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Able to work alone, sometimes in a small team.
- Very flexible, with irregular or split working hours.
- Frequent travel between work sites.
- Follows health and safety rules at work.
- Able to cope with physical work: lifting, standing, noise.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 4 (Closes in 5 days)
Apply on the employer's website. Send your CV and cover letter to the Mayor of the commune.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:

- Hazardous work: noise, lifting loads, dangerous products.
- Strong seasonal work, with peaks linked to weather.
- Suitable work clothing required.
