- Able to manage a group of children and difficult situations.
- Follow instructions and directives from managers.
- Able to organise working time and keep to schedules.
- Work well in a team and keep good relations with colleagues.
- Know and respect civil service duties, including discretion.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
