Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a competition can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.

The profile they look for:
- Able to work alone, sometimes in a small team.
- Very available, with irregular or shifted working hours.
- Constant travel between work sites.
- Able to handle busy periods linked to the weather.
- Able to do physical work: lifting loads, standing for long periods.
- Frequent contact with elected officials, residents and suppliers.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Category C job, grade of Adjoint technique.
- Irregular hours with a large daily range.
- Physically demanding job: noise, heavy loads, dangerous machines, polluting products.
- Remote work not possible.
