Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.

The profile they look for:
- Able to work well in a team and communicate well with others.
- Follow hygiene and safety rules.
- Show initiative and be physically fit.
- Know how the tools and equipment provided work.
- Required or to be trained: heavy goods licence, electrical authorisation, winter driving.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Full-time post of 35 hours a week.
- Winter on-call duties for gritting and snow clearing.
- Heavy goods licence, electrical authorisation and winter driving required or to be trained.
