Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the entry grade is category C.

- Strong interest in working with children.
- Knowledge of early childhood development.
- Knows the hygiene rules for cleaned premises.
- Listening skills, patience and calm.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Rigorous and discreet.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Part-time post, with a working time below 50% of a full-time job.
- Hours: after-school childminding on Thursday from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm and on Friday from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
