Civil servants and contract staff can apply. You do not need to have passed a civil service exam, because the job is open to the adjoint technique grades.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Work alone, sometimes in a small team.
- Be able to do many different tasks.
- Be very available, with possibly irregular hours.
- Follow health and safety rules at work.
- Hold a category B driving licence.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply through the employer's website linked in the official offer. You can also send your CV and cover letter to the town hall by post or by email.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Constant travel between work sites.
- Hours can be irregular, with strong seasonal peaks.
- Remote work is not possible.
- Category B driving licence required. Position vacant from 01/01/2027.
