Civil servants (titulaires) and contract workers can apply. The post is open at the grade of Adjoint technique principal de 1st class, category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Work in pairs, sometimes alone.
- Travel constantly between work sites.
- Be very available, with sometimes irregular hours.
- Accept on-call duty in winter.
- Follow health and safety rules at work.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Physically demanding job: noise, lifting loads, dangerous machines.
- Very seasonal work, with peaks linked to weather.
- Remote work not possible.
