Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly for this entry grade (adjoint technique).
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Driving licence B, and able to drive with a trailer.
- Rigorous, methodical and able to work on your own.
- Knowledge of green space maintenance techniques.
- Able to read a manual, a plan or instructions.
- Knowledge of health and safety rules at work.
- Able to report to councillors and the town hall secretary.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
