Civil servants (titulaires) and contract agents can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the entry grade in category C allows it.

The profile they look for:
- Work alone, sometimes in a small team.
- Travel constantly between work sites.
- Be very available, with irregular or shifted hours.
- Be in frequent contact with elected officials, staff and residents.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Remote work not possible.
- No team management.
- Hours may be irregular or shifted, with variable length.
