Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the job is category C.

The profile they look for:
- Driving licence category B required.
- Tractor and/or trailer driving required.
- Able to work alone or in a small team.
- Very flexible, irregular working hours possible.
- Good people skills and a sense of public service.
- Team spirit and initiative.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website given in the offer. You can also send your CV and cover letter by post to the town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Driving licence B and tractor or trailer driving required.
- Irregular hours possible, with strong seasonal peaks.
- No remote work possible.
