Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the entry grade is category C (adjoint technique).
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Category B driving licence and heavy vehicle licence essential.
- Good skills in driving machines and working on public land.
- Follows safety rules and road works signage.
- Able to work in a team and on your own.
- Follows instructions and has a sense of public service.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Snow clearing in winter, with heavy vehicles or by hand.
