The profile they look for:
- Work alone.
- Accept a strong seasonal workload and peaks linked to the weather.
- Accept a physically demanding job.
- Be in direct and constant contact with the public.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: December 2 (Closes in 32 days)
Send your application to the town hall, through the employer's website linked from the Choisir le Service Public offer.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work is not possible.
- No management role.
