Civil servants and contract staff. A person without a civil service exam can be hired directly, because an entry-level category C grade is open.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP or BEPA in green spaces or horticulture
The profile they look for:
- CAP or BEPA in green spaces or horticulture, required.
- Good knowledge of plant maintenance techniques.
- Able to lead a planting site according to a plan.
- Knowledge of equipment, safe postures and safety rules.
- Able to do physical work and carry heavy loads.
- Good contact with people, rigorous, autonomous and clear communication.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Send your CV and cover letter by email to the town hall, addressed to the Mayor.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
