Civil servants and contract agents can apply. The post is open to the adjoint technique and agent de maîtrise grades, with no competitive exam required.

Diploma: CAP or BEP in green spaces or horticulture, required
The profile they look for:
- CAPA or BEPA diploma in green spaces or horticulture required.
- Good knowledge of plant maintenance techniques.
- Able to do physical work and lift heavy loads.
- Knowledge of equipment and health and safety rules.
- Good with people, rigorous and autonomous.
- Driving licence B required.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

Send your CV and cover letter by email to the town hall, addressed to the Mayor. The offer is on Choisir le Service Public.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:

- Driving licence B is required.
- Working hours may change and the work is physically demanding.
- A contract agent may be hired while waiting for a civil servant.
