Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the entry grade is category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP or BEP in gardening or landscaping (preferred)
The profile they look for:
- CAP or BEP in gardening or landscaping preferred.
- Knowledge of plants, flower decoration and green spaces.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Apply safety, hygiene and protection rules.
- Know and apply differentiated management of green spaces.
- Show autonomy and versatility.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 3 (Closes in 5 days)
Apply on the employer’s website, or send your CV and cover letter by email or by post to the city’s Human Resources Department.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Driving licence category B required.
- Full-time post of 37h30 per week, with 25 days of leave and 15 RTT days.
- Taking part in city events.
- Wearing personal protective equipment. Remote work not possible.
