Civil servants and contract agents can apply. The post is open at the adjoint technique grade (category C), without a required competitive exam. A contract agent can be hired if no civil servant application has succeeded.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP in horticulture at minimum; bac pro in landscaping ideally
The profile they look for:
- CAP horticulture at minimum, ideally a bac pro landscaping.
- Knowledge of landscaping work and plants.
- Able to read a plan and a maintenance manual.
- Good physical fitness.
- Independent, rigorous, organised and punctual.
- Sense of public service.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 15 (Closes in 18 days)
Apply on the employer's website, or send your cover letter and CV by post or by email to the town hall's human resources department.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work not possible.
- Technical on-call duty and availability for exceptional events.
- Takes part in the winter road maintenance plan.
