Civil servants (titulaires) and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: Diploma in floriculture and/or horticulture
Experience: Experienced
The profile they look for:
- Diploma in floriculture or horticulture.
- Recognise ornamental plants and know basic botany.
- Apply workplace safety rules.
- Follow a plan and a work programme.
- Report on your work and flag faults.
- Know brushcutting and weeding techniques.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Outdoor work in all weather, wearing protective equipment.
- Taking part in weekend events and on-call technical duty.
- Benefits: end-of-year bonus, meal vouchers after 6 months, CNAS membership, contribution to health insurance.
- Remote work not possible.
