Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C (adjoint technique).
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of plants and landscape maintenance techniques.
- Skill in using green space maintenance equipment.
- Required licences to drive machines (tractor, CACES).
- Driving licence B essential.
- Respect for safety rules and personal protective equipment.
- Teamwork, rigour and autonomy.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Send your CV and cover letter to the Mayor, by post or by email using the contact details in the offer. You can also apply on the employer's website.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
