Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who did not pass a public competition can be hired directly, because the grade offered is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: BEP, CAP or bac in green spaces
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of plants and of the trade's techniques.
- Driving licence B required; C or CE licence appreciated.
- CACES 1, 3, 5 and PEMP boom lift 1B-3B requested.
- Winter driving ability required; on-call technical duties.
- Public service mindset, rigour and autonomy.
- Follows safety rules and wears protective equipment.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Full time: 36h30 per week, plus 9 days of ARTT leave.
- Hours may include evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- No remote work. Service vehicle and work clothes provided.
