Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person without a civil service exam can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.

The profile they look for:
- Know hygiene and safety rules for public buildings.
- Use products and equipment correctly, following dilution rules.
- Communicate well and work with other teams.
- Be careful, rigorous and discreet.
- Hold a driving licence (permis B).
- Have a sense of public service.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Send your cover letter and CV by email to the town hall. You can also apply on the employer's website.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Full-time job in category C.
- Driving licence (permis B) required.
- May need to start at 6 a.m. in case of emergency.
- Remote work is not possible.
