Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service exam can be hired, because the grade offered is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP (level 3) preferred
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of cleaning products and equipment for canteen kitchens.
- Basic food hygiene knowledge and strict hygiene good practice.
- Knowledge of correct dosages and proportions.
- Rigour, method and consistency in work.
- Report equipment faults to your manager.
- Positive communication with colleagues and managers.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: December 11 (Closes in 40 days)
Apply on the employer's website linked from the official offer. You can also send your CV and cover letter by email to the town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- You may be sent to help in another school or building.
- You work alone or in a team, depending on your area (cleaning or canteen).
- A deep clean is done during each school holiday.
