Open to civil servants and contract staff. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the entry grade in category C allows it.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP level preferred
The profile they look for:
- Know cleaning techniques, products and equipment for kitchens and canteens.
- Respect correct dosages and proportions.
- Have basic knowledge of food hygiene and canteen rules.
- Be rigorous, methodical and consistent in work.
- Report equipment faults to the line manager.
- Communicate in a positive way with colleagues and managers.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Send your CV and cover letter to the town hall by email, as shown on the official offer. You can also apply on the employer's website.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
