Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the adjoint technique grade (category C) is an entry grade.

2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 15 (Closes in 15 days)
Apply on the employer's website. Attach your CV and cover letter addressed to the mayor.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Full time at 100%, with annualised working hours.
- Hours from 7:00 to 18:30, varying with school and holiday periods.
- Meals paid during working time in school term only.
- Position vacant from 1 January 2027.
