Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade is an entry-level category C grade (adjoint technique).
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Know cleaning products and hygiene rules.
- Know how to use automated equipment and follow safety rules.
- Organise and plan own work, and work well in a team.
- Be punctual, discreet, rigorous and available.
- Use suitable language when in contact with children.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Category C job, adjoint technique grade.
- Parking or sea shuttle fully covered by the employer.
- Meal vouchers of 9 € per working day, 60% paid by the employer.
- Leave must be taken during school holidays according to the schedule.
