Civil servants and contract staff can apply. Direct hiring is possible without a competitive exam, because the entry grade in category C allows it. People recognised as disabled workers can also apply under a contract.

Diploma: CAP agent d'entretien, or similar experience in building cleaning
Experience: Experienced
The profile they look for:
- Be rigorous and organised
- Have a sense of public service and teamwork
- Know hygiene and safety rules
- Know how to use cleaning equipment (single-disc floor machine, scrubber-dryer)
- Hold a driving licence B (required)
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Atypical hours Monday to Friday, from 6 a.m. (morning, midday and evening)
- The BAFA is a plus
- No remote work possible
