Open to civil servants and to contract workers. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the entry grade of category C allows direct hiring.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Know the principles of cleaning and disinfection
- Know the rules of food hygiene
- Know safe lifting and handling movements
- Be rigorous, especially about food hygiene and safety
- Be able to work in a team and adapt to changes
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
